The Club will be 50years old next year and already there are plans to celebrate the milestone.
It is intended to update the Club History book  but to have it available electronically rather than in printed form.  Next year’s Chairman Don Johnson is also hoping to have an informal lunch for members , partners and friends to mark the anniversary   in October next year.
Brian Williams has organised a trip for members to the Anson Engine Museum in Poynton on October 24. The museum was set up by Les Cawley and Geoff Challinor who began collecting and showing stationary engines for a hobby. The museum first opened in 1989. Today the museum has one of the largest collection of engines in Europe and attracts stationary engine enthusiasts from all over the world.
The Walks Group and the Bowls Group  held their annual “get together” day at Comberbatch with a walk in the morning followed by lunch  and a Walkers v Bowlers bowls match in the afternoon.  The annual Christmas  Walk will be held on December 7 followed by lunch in Giovanni’s in Knutsford.
The annual golf match between the club and Tatton Probus will be held on October 12 at the Knutsford Golf Club.

The Club meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 10.00 in the Mere and Tabley Community Club.
